You could say I’m something of a “late bloomer”. Currently I am 40. I married at 33. I had my first child, a daughter, at 36 and the second, a son, at 37. I stay home with the kids and I’m “going” to school – on line - to finish my long suffering degree in Humanities. I’ll probably graduate about the time I’m 42.
Being a stay at home mom is incredibly difficult, isolating, and intellectually draining. There are times when you have to get it off your chest, but there is just nobody to talk to, save several Elmo dolls that will giggle for you if you tell them a joke (or not). So what you will find here is mostly what I would say if there were someone to call in the middle of the day when I’m climbing the walls and utterly sick of fetching juice.
